I'd much, much, much rather have Storm any day of the week over some stupid merch monkey. Then again, as a promoter I wouldn't be about the almighty dollar as much as a certain billionaire boss of the WWE. And I'd be sure that at the very least ol' Lance would get a IC or US title run and if he did well enough with that, I'd probably take a shot in the dark and put the WWE gold around his waist and hope that enough fans from spring 2004 would still remember him the last time he was in a WWE ring (3/29/4, IIRC).

I think this kind of goes to show that many of us "smarks" are as "out of touch" as the wrestling big leagues say we are.

Lance Storm, as great of a technical wrestlers as he is, is a black hole of charisma and never drew a dime for any of the companies he worked for. John Cena, as bad of a rep he has online, absolutely oozes with charisma and is one of the most marketable professional wrestlers in recent memory.

For me, Lance Storm's peak (The Saskatchiawan Hardcore International Title) wasn't as good as John Cena's peak (Basic Thuganomics).
