Can I play Pal Games on my NTSC Xbox 360? I was wondering if I could so that I won't have to pay much more for overseas shipping and stuff.

Not true. The Xbox 360 itself is region free as far as game discs are concerned. It's up to the publishers to decide whether or not to region-lock the discs.

This is the only compatibility guide I know of, check that to see if your game is compatible.
