Rhino is ok in the ring and pretty awful at promo's. Douglas was good then awful in the ring but awesome in promo's. Both have been wasted outside of ECW but I have to go with The Franchise here.

He won't get near the HOF but still...

Rhino over Douglas in a very close one here

I've already said my peace on Douglas in the last thread.

Rhino is definately a very hard worker and had a very nice little run during a time in the WWE where it was a huge cluster fuck. I think he did an excellent job of standing out in a crowded work place and had some great matches and feuds during that time. I believe PWI ranked him in like the top 20 out of 500 wrestlers in 2001. I remember that standing out to me, especially where you had a shit load of great workers in the WWE in 2001.

He had an ok run in ECW when ECW was Naitonal, but it was at the end of the company's run and a lot of the best workers had already left the company.

He's definately been given a run with the ball in TNA and he's done very well for himself. He was really over when he came in initially and that's why the company decided to put the strap on him in that surprise win over Jarrett. Since then he's been one of the workhorses of the company and a strong staple in the midcard. But he's also someone who can quickly transition into the main event if needed.

Seeing as neither wrestler ended up being as "big" as they were during their time on ECW, going to go for Douglas but in a close vote. Of the two though, Rhino had the best opportunity to be made "big" in the WWE or TNA but neither company pushed him good enough compared to how he was very athletic for being a "big"/hoss in appearance.

Douglas was much better in promos to build up a match while Rhino had an amazing feud and matches against RVD for the TV title. Douglas had the opportunity to wrestle in ECW when it was stable in both finances and in wrestler depth which is something Rhino didn't have most of the time when he became the champion of the company.

Douglas is ok but outside his stuff with Taz and Al Snow I've never really gotten amped up for his matches, and when I did it was because I loved Taz and Snow so much.

Rhino has that intensity to his matches that I personally love. He's got that edge that makes the crowd perk up when he comes out because they know someone's about to get their ass kicked. People say he was underused but a good wrestler can make his position important instead of needing a good position to make a wrestler important. Rhino can do that. He gets my vote.
