Should Keith Jardine Be Cut?
In the last three years, Jardine has only won two fights... Both by split decision.

In that same time period, he's been knocked out four times, plus a unanimous decision loss.

maybe shoved to prelims or something rather than being cut altogether. ufc need to be wary of cutting fighters who might make a strikeforce/dream card more interesting.

Houston - Underestimated
Chuck - Won Fight
Wanderlei - Got Caught (/It's motherfuckin Wanderlei )
Vera - Won Fight (against a guy who is pretty solid)
Rampage - Lost very close fight
Thiago - Got caught, was doing well
Bader - Possibly underestimated?

Basically I'd say give him someone like Luis Cane, Te Huna or even Schafer to see where he stands.

Also off topic but am I the only one who would like to see Bonnar attempt a drop to Middleweight?

I don't think so. He's lost his last 3 fights but all of his fights have been against top competition and he puts up a competitive fight every time. It's not like he gets rolled on constantly.

I do think they should cut Jardine.

I also think Bonnar sees the ceiling at 205, and he sees the ceiling at 185. He knows he isn't a contender in either class, and that has to suck.

All Jardine's fights have been very hard fights for the most part. I suppose if he did what Bisping did and fight only cans then he'd have alot more wins. Jardine takes all fights that come his way. He wins some against top guys, he loses some. Bisping only fights cans and loses whenever he takes on a fight against some legitimate opposition. I'd rather have Jardine's career, I'd say.

I say he should be cut. I had no idea his record was that bad. He's a good fighter but he just does not have the chin.
