According to PWI, the MITB ladder match will feature 8 superstars this year.

So far, I would consider this card great. I wish the WWE Championship was on either Sheamus or Triple H, but Cena vs. Batista is a big match.

Holy shit. It actually looks like Triple H isn't gonna be in a high-profile match this year!

The sad thing is, I wish he was. Triple H masterplan to make us miss him?
I'm really, really looking forward to MITB this year. Perhaps because it is the last time we will see it at WrestleMania. My hope is that the WWE actually packs it full of top-level talent and creates a lot more of a "feud" between the guys in the match. I mean, I can't see myself getting into Triple H and Sheamus feuding for Mania right now, but I could definitely get into both guys being in Money in the Bank. It'll help the year's match stand out. Right now, a lot of them seem to blend together. Christian, CM Punk, John Morrison, Kane, Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus and Triple H, for example. Now there is a fucking hectic MITB with every single man except for Kofi Kingston having won at least the ECW Championship. The Money in the Bank Winner would look like someone who truly deserves to be either WWE or World Heavyweight Champion. |

definately an awesome card. to me, it's one of the best cards in years. every match has a strong story behind it. and actually, the Taker/HBK and Jericho/Edge storylines go back to last year, which is amazing. And then you have Bret/Vince, which goes back to 1997. I'll probabaly get this one on DVD when it comes out

Orton and Legacy needs to be a Tag Team Cage match. Orton finds a partner of choosing and we won't know until Wrestlemania. It'll probably be a 3 way though.

But I hope they don't overpopulate the card with matches that don't really belong. And that most of them are straight-forward bouts. Save the gimmicks for Extreme Rules. But yeah, once they are Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes and perhaps Vince vs. Bret officially, the card will look like one of the strongest they have put on in AGES. I just wish there was some legitimate tension between ShoMiz and some big names for a Unified WWE Tag Team Title Match. John Morrison seems like a good bet for challenger #1. Kofi Kingston or R-Truth would make a good second challenger. Even if they brought back Joey Mercury in time for WrestleMania? Last edited by Mr. Nerfect; 02-23-2010 at 11:12 AM. |

the awesomeness of this card has been in my head all day. Like I didn't even realize it until Juan laid it out. It's just completely stacked. The last Mania card that really pumped me up was probably Wrestlemania 20 to be honest. I loved that Mania.
There will probably be what? 3-4 more matches added. Obviously Orton's, Women's, HHH's and then a tag match. I'm hoping a sports bar near me carries this |

So now, we have some more MITB participants and a tease that Bret vs. Vince will indeed happen at WM.

I would say Sheamus vs HHH is as good as booked. Not official yet though obviously. Def "rumored"
Is Bret vs Vince not official yet? I took the whole thing as a confirmation of the match. It will be kind of a bait and switch if it doesn't happen now, seeing as Vince challenged and Bret accepted, and the announcers put it over as though it were a done deal. |

You figure Kofi has to be one of the 2 remaining MITB competitors, but the final spot has me stumped. I guess Matt Hardy?
What if they went completely out there and gave the last spot to Danielson? |

Danielson getting the last spot in MITB would be amazing...I don't see it though. I figure they'll probably for 4 per show:
Raw: Christian, Jack Swagger, MVP, Kofi Kingston SmackDown: Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Ezekiel Jackson R-Truth and John Morrison will probably challenge for the tag belts, which should be good (if not a bit of a shame, I definitely thought both guys were MITB locks this year). But, Ziggler and Swagger got on the card so I'm not complaining. That leaves just Drew McIntyre off the card...I really hope he gets involved in the show somehow. |

I'm confused what they're going to do with McIntyre. After such a strong push they surely won't leave him off the card. He may qualify for MITB in a last chance battle royal or something.

If he does win MITB, I really want them to run it like Edge after the first MITB. Let him tease the cash-in and brag about how "Mr. McMahon's prophecy will be fulfilled whenever I want it to be!" or something. But ultimately, he holds onto it all the way until 2011 before cashing in. |

Bret vs Vince is it's own match now?
Unless Bret has made some secret, miraculous recovery, I don't see how this works. |

Well hopefully the whole 'car accident' was a set up by Bret to goad Vince in to accepting the match. Either that or it's an excuse for Vince just to attack his leg instead of putting in head shots.

I think they are trying to have a "reason" for Bret not being able to do much in the ring without having to bring up all of his problems this past decade.

Looks like the WM is almost set in stone. All we're waiting for is (maybe) another MITB participant, confirmation of some kind of Orton/Legacy match and possibly a Divas match.

Yeah, that's plenty of extra PPV time for more matches. I wonder how come the US and IC belts aren't on the line. It would just seem more "grandiose" to have all of the belts on the line.

US and IC titles have only been on the WM card like once in the last 5 years or so.

SPOILER: show Are you fucking kidding me? That is honestly one of the best WrestleMania card going into the PPV of all-time. I think only WrestleMania X-Seven and WrestleMania XX would be in the same league. Even XIX only really had Y2J/HBK, Rock/Austin and Angle/Lesnar. This card has like 6-7 matches that have a good shot at being great to awesome. |
