I rented this from redbox for 2 days, really enjoyed it. The only mode I went through though was 30 years of 'Mania, played it quite a bit, got all the way to Flair VS Michaels, then I had to return it. That mode was fun to go through and relive all of those moments. Seeing JR and King's commentary from those old matches was kind of odd. I liked the small tweaks to the gameplay, and things seemed to sound more authentic.

I played the game for the first time today but is it just me or does it take forever to enter the ring during tag team matches?

I had a 6-Man Elimination Tag Match in which I was The Shield against Santino, Khali and Ryder. Whenever I changed my character by pressing select, my character wouldn't enter the ring until about five seconds after I pressed select. It was like there was some kind of delay.

Because of that, it would end up being a waste of time pressing select as by the time my character had entered the ring, he was no longer needed, as my legal man would be getting the hell beat out of him or my pin would have been broken by my opponents.

Tiniest of details but you can have a different character select screen pose for each outfit of your CAW. Kind of weird that you can't change facepaint/make up for each outfit, though. So if your default is all red and your alt is supposed to be all blue, you can't change the paint/makeup.

You must be doing something wrong. There's a bunch of CAWS out there like Jeff Hardy and Great Muta that have different face paint on each outfit.

When I go to edit an alt attire for a CAW, a message always pops up saying any change to height, shape etc will be for all outfits, not just the alt I'm editing. It also mentions facepaint/makeup in that list.

I like the challenges in 30 years of WM mode, as well as beating the Streak 10 times with past opponents. Sadly Universe mode is just the same thing with a couple of new minor features. As much as people like to pick on COD for being the same game every year, I think the WWE games have them beat for releasing the same shit with minor edits every year.

I probably won't get the season pass this year, I'll just cherry pick a couple of DLC guys and leave it at that.

Big Rivalry of the Week in my Universe is the nWo v.s. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Hogan and Co. jumped Donatello during his IC title match last week and now the Turtles must engage in a 12 week or more rivalry to avenge their fallen brother.

A building rivalry has started with Team Marvel vs DC. Wolverine/Gambit v.s. Batman/Joker to be exact.

My Back to the Future story was pretty sweet with all of the old characters I didn't have the time to create and just found on the servers.

Almost finished 30 years of WM, really loved this mode, so many matches I watched on PPV back in the day.

After the nostalgia has settled down, I'll probably trade the game quite soon to get most of my money back, as although it's a decent game, Universe mode is mostly the same, which is what I usually get it for. Don't care about the DLC this year.

Why isn't there a Create-A-PPV mode? You can create an arena in which to host a PPV but you can't make a PPV.

That was my complaint too. I think the best you can do is either edit the ppv when it comes up in Universe mode, or make one in Create a Story mode.

All in all, I'm having a good time with it. Same as wwe13, but it manageable.

My issues (mostly multiplayer related):

- The Breaking Point submission system is not only archaic and a step back, it's not actually working as intended. The 'breaking point' is a foregone conclusion whether the submission is a finisher or not, and the taker mashing faster than the giver does absolutely nothing. I have tested this out. Bring back the fucking mini-game, or ape THQ's submission system from their UFC games. Or even the system from SvR 2000-fucking-six.

- The reversal system is indeed harder, but not for the best reasons. I do like that countering strikes is based on the frame where collision occurs, while grapples depend on reading and intercepting the opponent's input. However, making the window of opportunity dependent on per-character stats was a huge mistake. Sure, Cena or Lesner may reverse stuff and no sell all match in real life, but fuck actually playing some shit like that. Reversals should be constant across the board (which is actually what I'm going to do with every character's reversal stats). Also, it wouldn't hurt to return to making strike and grapple reversals two different buttons, to promote a healthier metagame. Things like running actions, diving attacks, and irish whip rebound attacks - simply never happen unless you're playing with a good sport. Everything in WWE games comes down to either striking or grappling, how you reverse them should be separated again.

- I should be able to choose to interrupt an opponent's intro with an early attack, and also attack after a match ('rubbing it in' as winner or 'taking a cheap shot' as a sore loser). These things should also be reversible.

- Come Backs could (and should), very easily, be customizable. Edit the movie with a sequence of actions and animations and boom.

- On that note, Hogan's Come Back should not end with the leg drop. That should be completely my discretion.

- If reversing is on the R trigger, it should be analog, but that's a part of a major write-up for my WWE next-gen game system wish list. Stay tuned for that one.

HOWEVER, if you have your 360 linked with your PC, you can create your playlists right through Media Player on the PC and it will stream to your 360. This saves you from having to upload them then create the playlist.

There's been something bugging me about Roman Reigns model and I've finally put my finger on it; he has no wrist tape.

Also, wish they would do some DLC Mania matches instead of/as well as some of the characters. 30 Years of WrestleMania was a fun mode but could have been filled out with some additional matches; Hogan/Vince, HBK/Vince, HHH/Taker from 17, all of Taker's Streak opponents, etc.

Mistake one was assuming this is a CAW forum. Understand how web searches work: you type "caw forum" into your search bar and, naturally, any site those two words were used is gonna come up. You then purouse the site to see if theres a specific section that's for CAW's. This place has NEVER been a "caw request forum".

Also, this site has probably been around longer than some of the others you may be a member of (I've been here since 2000, and I think this place was going before then, too.) What you should have done is posted a thread asking if anyone makes CAW's. Those of us that play probably make our own, we just don't take requests
