This PPV didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would.
Much as I hate to admit it wasn't too bad........
The matches weren't too bad, and all in all, the pace was pretty steady.
Better than your average Smackdown, for sure.

Riiiiiiiiiiight :|
Ok we all knew this was going to be a major suckfest, and it lived up to it. I dont think I've ever felt this way about a PPV in a long time, it just plainly sucked.
The good things I can think of that happened tonight were:
- Mordecai using the Razors Edge
- The set
- Undertakers enterance
- Last 5 minutes of Eddie/JBL
Like it has been said, the Eddie/JBL match was poor, but the brawling afterwards was brutal, I think that is what kinda made me not so pissed off at the end of it all.
I guess it means we have to go through another Eddie/JBL match :nono:
Certainly not worth staying up till 3:45am for, even if it was free.

can you guys describe Mordecai and Undertaker's intro's?

you can d/l Mordecai's up there. His music is cool, but it needs more of a beat in the middle IMO.

Do You guys think SmackDown! will be worth watching this thurday?

I think in fairness to tonights PPV, most of the matches were entertaining enough, with the highs, mediums and lows for me as follows:
Highs:
Rico! Awesome funny! Good job by Holly (did I just say that?) and Billy Gunn for selling the whole homo-phobia thing. Good finish, but the match had me grinning like a manic clown.
Eddie, and his famous bleeding head. WOW! The match wasn't too bad, even if I did go for a smoke halfway through, but the ending was a bloodbath. Wonder how many stitches Eddie will get from that one?
Dawn Marie's ass. Always a bonus!
Medium:
Taker v Booker T was pretty much what I was expecting. Considering there was no run in, no Mordicai or 'Booker Shango' it was a pretty solid match, with nothing particularly exciting. Crap chokeslam, but a decent enough (if expected) finish.
Chavo cheating and Jacqueling losing her title. Glad it went back to Chavo, pity they couldn't have come up with something better.
RVD, Mysterio v Dudleys - not a bad match, but nothing exciting either. At least I can't remember anything standing out, but RVD and Mysterio make a pretty good tag team, so maybe they should have another few matches together?
Mordecai - so Scotty got squashed? Big surprise there then. can't be too enthusiastic about this guy yet, because I haven't seen him do anything different from anybody else. The only thing that he done different from anybody else tonight was he brought a big tool down to the ring, but then so did Billy Gunn and JBL's Limo. Match was alright though.
Low:
Torrie and Dawn Marie was crap, but better than expected. The match rating has to go here, because otherwise Dawn Marie's ass would have carried the match into the medium range, and while it's a cute ass, it can't carry a match!
Holy shit, that is sweet.
Although he's a face mask short of being a KKK member.

Should be interesting enough to merit a watching.
Interested in what they'll do with Mordicai and with Eddie being DQ'd.
alternatively, you could check the spoilers on forthcoming threads.....

Dupree vs Cena was good I hope they continue this fued!
All in all a decent PPV Really

Hey, I wonder where the ref's right hand is.
Dawn Marie's ass was a nice surprise. Mordecai's wrestling was slow and boring, don't overrate him plz. Hopefully he tries harder next time. Eddie vs JBL got good toward the end, Eddie's bleeding was insane. The rest of the ppv was worthless.
just got back from watching, this paperview was alright

As sombody that works in the television business that Mordecai footage looks like something that would come from a satellite "clean feed" which means its coming straight out of the truck outside of the arena. I wish i could figure out what the satellite coordinates are in case I ever get stuck at work during a PPV and tune it in. Probably be scrambled though.

:-\
They did everything I did NOT want.
- They extended the Eddie/JBL feud.
- They had Booker lose cleanly to Taker and laid the seeds for Booker Shango.
- Mordecai didn't interfere to start a feud with Taker.
Dammit, SD! is gonna suck the next month unless they do something drastic. Seriously... Eddie has no freakin' competitors left, especially since they seem intent on killing Booker (again), and they wonder why it gets bad ratings. Why'd you have to be right, Cynick???

he was bordering on fight club-esque blood, it was still pouring down his face over 10 minutes after he was cut

not as bad as I thought it would be. Mordecai was a little of a disapointment for me mostly because he's a cruiserweight and i was expected like a 7 foot muscular heavyweight to feud with taker. Dawn Maries ass was great havent seen much flashing at a ppv in a long time. Not since that Kats top came off unless im missing one. Eddie seemed to lose a bit more blood than he should have and i was almost thinking the match was going to be stopped do to it glad they were able to finish it out. Cena retaining made me smile.. Although it wouldve been neat to see the angle they wouldve done with Renee Dupree holding a US title. Chavo has a lot more talent and shouldnt be wrestling these matches that lead him nowhere. Im not taking anything away from Jacqulyn but move her to raw where shell have some competition and let the cruiserweights of smackdown get some ring time with chavo. RVD and Rey Mysterio make a great tag team. as much as RVD needs to move up in the rankings as a singles wrestler this could be the new tag team champs of smackdown if the wrighters allow it.
