Good thing the MyCareer mode is an improvement from last year. Renee Young talks and pauses like she is Christopher Reeve, but other than that it's nice to control your destiny through backstage promos

So if you download a superstar from community creations, any alt atiires you may have created for the default roster don't show up when picking what slot to put your caw in. So its possible to overwrite your alt attires without even knowing.

Make sure you check which of your 1-100 caw slots are occupied before you go into CC.

I didn't like career that much in NXT. Seems to be a few matches, old create a story scenes, then talk to Renee's evil twin sister to change some bars. Ended my play last night as NXT champion, which I then dropped to go for the US title.

Apparently I have a mystery rival, so maybe business will pickup?

Also, there is a glitch in career mode apparently. From what I've read (and experienced myself), nobody has yet been given a title shot unless they enter a rivalry with the champion after your first rivalry. So if you're hanging around the top rankings without a shot, go interfere in the champs match.

Some of the things with Renee are way too vague. I was always heel, then I attacked Sami while he was champ and she asked me if this was a rivalry starting. Two options were saying yes like "I can beat him" and "I need to prove I'm the best" and the other two were blowing him off. Because I was worried about blowing him off would stop a rivalry from happening, I picked that I could beat him. Face turn.

All I did on the road to the title was hell promos, kept getting Egotistical and Disrespectful up... No turn.

Think it depends on what belt you go after. Once I was NXT champ, I could put myself somewhere else, which drops the belt immediately. With the US title, I'm booked on Smackdown, but not Raw.

So career got slightly interesting as Seth Rollins kept coming out for my matches and we became tag partners. However, it's now really pissing me off as when you're on the main roster, you have goals from the authority. Most of these are impossible early on since you need OMG skills which are fucking expensive and now I have to win with red arm health and I'm against the Big Show. Is he going to target the arms? I fucking doubt it.

After every single goddamn match too, I'm just getting the exact same question from Renee about the authority depending on if I did the authority goal (once I did!) or not. I'm also still face despite being aggressive, egotistical and disrespectful, praising the authority at every turn and tagging with Seth Rollins.

My mystery rival has yet to reveal himself.

Also, because I'm Cruiserweight, I can't buy the abilities, so I may not be able to get the trophy.

Was booked into a 1 on 3 handicap match, but the AI is fucked. Everytime they tag each other in, they target whoever tagged them in and start trying to punching them while I just watch and get my reversal bar and stamina back.

So was fighting Kane and Seth came out during my match, but looking scared. Ryback was chasing him. Kane rolled me up for a quick win in a cutscene. so I get a 0 star match.

That's what happens when you have a match with Kane... In 2015.

Happened again while I was fighting Reigns. This time Ryback got in the ring and clotheslined me going for Seth. 0 stars and I apparently fucking lost instead of winning by DQ. Fucking hell. It wouldn't be so bad, but I lose objectives doing this.

Also, I'm losing relationship points with Seth and I can't interfere in his matches to help because I'm locked in a rivalry.

It took at least five years when I played last year to break out and be a star. It's accurate. It takes awhile to be a star. I think they might have slowed it down even more this year to sell the accelerator.

Oh yeah, I get that. It's just last year was "creative has nothing for you" then skipped the month with one match while this has 9. I have no problem with the mode lasting longer, but they haven't got the content to back it up, so you just have random matches for no reason in certain periods, or a rivalry that will be stare down, ref bump, other ref bump and then brawl before the PPV for a 4 week rivalry.

NBA is long as well, but they let you skip to the next important match and sim the rest. This should have it.

EDIT: Going to go for the tag belts with Seth and see if it plays out differently.

This is just broken in places. So Mizdow attacked me during the build to Wrestlemania and locked us in a feud. Because this was the second week, it wouldn't happen until after WM so whatever. Hilariously bad Wrestlemania card too, but whatever, he's in a tag team, I'll take it.

Then the second week of April, I have a match against Sin Cara where I attack him before the match in a cutscene. Then I have another match with Sin Cara and I beat him down after the match in a cutscene. Then a match against Kalisto with Sin Cara in his corner and Kalisto in mine where Seth Rollins came out from the back to come out and celebrate with me despite being ringside the whole time. At Extreme Rules, we faced the Lucha Dragons. This was the blow off match to my rivalry with Damien Sandow.

Importing a face has always sucked. CAW clothing options, for both, definitely suck/ feel more limited.

My guy still seems to have half of his face black from nothing. I had a mask on him at one point, but deleted it.

Only the tag titles were defended and the card was just bad. Viktor faced off against Enzo and the sub main event was Neville V Stardust. It was main evented by former 1 time NXT and US champion Hasney taking on Batista inside HIAC with no build. Wrestlemania went off the air with Hasney celebrating on the stage after picking up a W in a 3 star match for the ages.

Yes, you can hear people for a bit. I say for a bit, because most matches get desynced or disconnected before finishing.

Universe mode looks tasty from the little I've ventured into it. There are plenty of wrestlers to plug and play with. Thinking about making a TPWW show/arena down the road and create some posters for that for a stream.

Yeah, although in RtWM mode in SvR '11, you'd start almost every week backstage and could wander around, talking to people, and sometimes you'd even have to perform specific and sometimes odd tasks (such as collecting "orbs" representing "souls" in Undertaker's urn), & in '12, you sometimes started backstage and would have to complete objectives to move on to the show or advance to the next week.

Just picked this up cheap, lose as soon as submission is locked on, how does this even work?

Finally hit yhe logo limit, which is 1,000. This is because when you delete a caw, it does not delete the attached logos. Even if you download that caw again, it uses unused slots for the logos you already have.

Can't download anything else til I free up enough space. So I click OK. Game needs to load for 20 seconds. List of all my caw logos shows up. I delete the first unused one. Another 20 seconds of loading. Takes me back to the download screen for the caw. Still not enough logo slots open. 20 more seconds of loading. No option to delete multiple logos at once. YOU HAVE TO DELETE HUNDREDS OF FUCKING LOGOS ONE AT A FUCKING TIME IN BETWEEN 40 SECONDS OF LOAD TIME FOR EACH ONE

Sports games are about the only games I play. Still have a PS2 and play old Madden, NCAA, MLB, NBA, and Nascar games from time to time. Never got into the consoles that come after the PS2 and think gaming is shit these days with all the downloading stuff.

No just games today in general. My brother has a X Box 1 and will put a game in and have to wait for the game to download to the console or what ever. All I have for the PS2 is one loading screen and I'm playing the game. I know I sound like an old man but I'm younger than most of you and I hate gaming today.

Back in my day, we loaded games from cassette tapes and could cook a full meal while waiting.

I only have mostly sports games and they are pretty much the initial loading screen and you're in the main menu of the game. Sure they have in game loading screen before you start a game but that's a given. Now a days you put a game in and have to wait for it to download and if it needs upgrades you have to download them as well. It maybe for the better but its not for me.

With understanding the complex nature of what the hell is happening when that disc spins, I am okay with waiting for 20 minutes or so to play. Have other things to do anyway.

As with any evolution, evolve or perish. Accept what "is" really "is" and prepare for it. Instead of

"Man, just got Madden 100, can't wait to sit and play."

think

"Man, just got Madden 100. Can't wait to wank off while it finishes doing what is needed to give me the best value per dollar for modern electronic entertainment"

I'll just stick to NCAA Football 08. I love that game, have played through the Dynasty on there like 8 times. I always thought graphics for the PS2 were great and it never bothers me in fact I find them to be a lot smoother looking than newer games in my opinion.

Sure the new stuff has a lot more details and shit but to me they try to make it look to real. I guess smoother wasn't the best word to use but older graphics just suit me better than the realism stuff that they have today. Doesn't matter to me because I'm satisfied with the PS2 and don't see myself ever buying another console. I'm not a big gamer and like I said only play sports games and haven't bought any new games since 2008.

How many damn games do you play at a time? I have like 6 XBox 1 games on my system with some smaller games and I don't have the issue of constantly reinstalling games. I do uninstall after I am finished with them though.

Had to delete then reinstall the "latest update" for GTA V on my PS3 the other day because I got the weird "not signed in despite being actually signed in" error. Fortunately that was all it took to resolve my issue.
