They've been fatigued for the past few Mania main events, and they haven't been particularly keen on Roman. Could possibly be the strongest thing on the show and that hasn't been the case since WrestleMania 31 or XXX, depending on your perspective.

Probably a good decision. Triple H is not very good at working as a sympathetic babyface, and Batista's personality is great as a heel, but it's not really a major loss him not leading a match at this point.

I don't mind the idea of a babyface tapping into the talents that made him such a piece of shit and who they basically are in the first place. Just because someone is the protagonist doesn't mean they have to spend the entire match on their back gasping for air.

Bryan was always going to put Kofi over. There's no way he would have gone for beating him. What's going to be interesting is where they go with him.

I really don't want them to turn Big E. The guy is lovable as a babyface. He's got a colorful vibe to him, and his antics are always fun and his matches have much better energy as a babyface. It's rare you find a dude built like that who makes an excellent babyface. Turning him heel and putting him in darker colors and making him a mopey bitter heel like everyone else is just...man, don't do it. It will be like turning Rikishi in 2000.

Have a heel cut down Kofi at some point, and Big E gets vengeance for that. Brock would be perfect for that. But Drew could do it as well. Even Orton. But Brock vs. Big E could be a great WWE Title program down the line. And you don't need to rush it off Kofi or anything. Just don't piss all over their goodwill with the fans to turn your routine story that no one is going to genuinely believe in anyway.

Toni Storm? Eh, whatever. I think I'd prefer that to the backstage groups getting emphasized on television. Charlotte's gimmick should be about loading herself up with top talent.

Becky challenging Charlotte for the title a few months into the “Divas Revolution” was the first REAL feud of that era that people got into. Before that it was even worse with things being a big deal for being the “divas revolution” and multi tag matches and no real change from before. Lynch has been a huge part of the real momentous shifts in the revolution even if they’ve positioned Flair as the standard bearer. Becky has been the piece that made shit work and move forward for the epochal shifts.

Supposedly WWE executives pay and bonuses in regards to the Network are now tied into how long Mania is so the longer the show, the more they can get paid.

That and the main roster is way too bloated since this year's show had like 80+ people competing in it.

I get that that is what happens. I'm not disputing that. I just don't understand why. Are these people not familiar with the mantra "less is more?"

They obviously want content for the Network, but is there data to suggest that just generating more and more is what keeps people hooked on streaming services? Would it be more constructive to put good and digestible content? I'd be worried that if someone got exhausted watching my biggest PPV of the year and instead of craving more, they instead realized that it's fatiguing and there's no way they're going to watch all the WWE programming and just give up.

If they made WrestleMania a shorter show, they can push stuff out to another PPV in later April/early May. They could make their overall product hotter and get more people to watch Raw, SmackDown and possibly subscribe to the Network. As it stands, it seems it has plateaued. Why not try and make your product hotter to try and break through to that 2 milion buy mark by converting more of that existing audience and then the Network will obviously be making more money and you can pay executives more that way.

I feel like she might have been "promised" the win over Ronda, since this was planned way back at WrestleMania last year. I could see Vince honoring that if that was the strong plan, because it was never Becky.

Whoever is winning is beating Ronda, I think. It will be Charlotte in a shocking heel moment or Becky because she's the babyface and seems to be doing well. It's the "right" thing to do.

The brand split is still technically a thing, but as usual they've dropped certain things they had established in it. Cena is no longer exclusively SmackDown, he's a "free agent" that does whatever he wants. Becky and Charlotte have been appearing on Raw despite being SmackDown stars. The rules they established with the Royal Rumble seem to change every year, but when either Charlotte or Becky loses, they should be back to being exclusively on SmackDown, but who knows if that will happen? Angle was appearing on both shows and we got Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio randomly doing Raw appearances, I believe.

Basically the brand split only matters until they decide they want to book someone on the other show.
