AEW seems to be working off the "lean startup model." It centers around putting forth a minimum viable product that you make available to consumers - then you take their feedback and pivot/evolve depending on the demands of the market.

So, they're aware while their show is of the necessary quality to exist - and find some success - on television--it's a continual work of progress that requires continual assessment and adjustments.

Whereas, the WWE just does shit the same old way, like most legacy brands.

I don't think they will interrupt on the 2nd week of AEW it's too precious of a time to jeopardize their rating. Turner has plenty of options for casting on other channels and I have faith they don't fuck over AEW tonight. Maybe in the future, but not this soon.

AEW would need to be both fully established and doing MLB-like numbers for that to even be possible.

Plus given the choice of having to deal with the MLB playoffs or NBA playoffs, AEW decided to go with the lesser evil of MLB since it meant less issues to worry about.
