Posted in the COVID thread by mistake but, man, Velveteen Dream........super young, star potential written all over him, charismatic as hell, all the talent in the world. And he's pissed it away.

I don’t really want to read through 13 pages. Can someone break down who’s been outed as a nonce and who’s been outed as dickheads?

I know Sammy Guevara is suspended but that’s all I’m aware of.

All we know for sure is that Mick Foley has been outed as a socks offender.

I think it's like 40+ wrestlers now, seemingly half the NXT UK locker room so WWE might just shut down NXT UK altogether. Also lots of rasslers in Chikara and it's done now.

The worst offender (so far) seems to be Joey Ryan. Velveteen Dream might be next most notable after Joey Ryan.

I didn’t have to watch Mike Quackenbush’s apology video to know he’s full of shit. All of these overly rehearsed apology videos or paragraphs-long written apologies, nobody has come out looking better in any of them.

You can’t talk your way out of this situation. Just go away.

Jack Gallagher and Ligero have been released from the WWE, with Velveteen Dream rumored to be next. Joey Ryan, one of the Crists and Michael Elgin from TNA. Dave Lagana from the NWA. One dude got fired from MLW. Mike Quackenbush is putted and Chikara is gone. Sammy Guevara from AEW. None of that necessarily means those people are guilty (except for Guevara who was recorded saying things on tape, although it was a “joke”), but those are the ones that have seen consequences.

Guevara was suspended without pay, not sacked. Jimmy Havoc also suspended and sent to rehab I believe.

I didn't mean sacked, I just meant he got stung with consequences because their respective companies believe there's truth to the buzz. I should have been more clear. Forget about Havoc.

Oh, and Travis Banks from NXT UK and maybe someone else I'm forgetting from there too (maybe it was just him and Ligero though).

I still stand by my original assessment that Matt Riddle's accusations are bogus. Being an adulterer and a prick to your mistresses is not the same thing as what others were accused of.

Also, Terri Runnells, that was clearly her ex husband's doing, like all the other various ways he harassed her. And that was pre UFC Brock Lesnar, and pre 50 year old Dustin when he was still hopped up on pain pills. If anyone thinks he would have just sat there and done nothing if it wasn't his idea, I have some bridges to sell you.

Yeah that’s fine. It was just everybody else you listed was released or “chose to step away” so I thought it needed some clarity.

Apparently WWE had been in talks with an unmanned top indie talent for a potential deal prior to the recent tidal wave of accusations hitting the wrestling industry.

This unnamed person ended up being among those publicly accused leading to WWE pulling their offer shortly afterwards.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I’ve heard from multiple sources about <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/WWE?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#WWE</a> pulling a contract offer from a top young talent involved in the recent string of sexual allegations that have come out about pro wrestlers. Obviously a situation the company (and everyone) has to take very seriously.</p>&mdash; Jon Alba (@JonAlba) <a href="https://twitter.com/JonAlba/status/1276905616607330310?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 27, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Only reason the name of this person was not revealed was due to Alba getting that information "off the record" from his sources.

Most likely Josh Briggs. His age isn't in the public record but he's only been in the business since 2016 and has done work with EVOLVE which is a main WWE pipeline.

Only other notable indy name to surface was David Starr who started the whole thing. He's only 29 but he's said to have been on WWE's no-fly list for a while due to his outspoken criticism of the continued tapings and his frequent calls to unionize.

Is nobody safe in the squared circle or are they all at it?

NXT UK brand got hit with more releases and one suspension by WWE regarding the recent allegations going around in the British wrestling scene.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports Joe Coffey has been suspended by NXT UK.

Coffey has been accused of sexual harassment, sending unwanted pictures, and stalking.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, NXT UK referee Joel Allen was released over the weekend.

Allen was seen in a video with David Starr making lewd comments towards women. Starr has been accused of multiple acts of sexual abuse and misconduct.

Meltzer also reports that NXT UK referee Chris Roberts was released.

Plot Twist

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">WWE has confirmed to me that Velveteen Dream was in a car accident today, and has been released from the hospital.</p>&mdash; Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com (@SeanRossSapp) <a href="https://twitter.com/SeanRossSapp/status/1276682438811533312?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 27, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Turns out the car accident was Dream's fault according to WrestlingInc.

As reported on Friday, Dream was released from the hospital after his involvement in a car accident, and Wrestling Inc has some details on what went down.

According to the site, the accident took place at about 4 PM local time when Dream allegedly failed to stop at a red light. That resulted in him hitting another car. The driver of the other car sustained injuries, but it isn’t known how bad they were.

Dream was given a citation over the incident but will not appear in court.

Seems AEW finished up their investigations involving some of their talent who had been accused recently.

Darby Allin supposedly was cleared of his accusations after providing a bunch of DMs as evidence for his case. He was also being investigated over past unrelated issues involving him.

Jimmy Havoc is currently rumored to be retiring from wrestling once he finishes rehab.

If I was having an extensive affair behind my partners back and l was going to get outed by the person, I would 100% call them a stalker.

He could have been cheating and she also could have turned into a stalker. Not to say that's what happened, but it's not unheard of.

Joey Ryan is now abusing the YouTube claim system to have indy shows/matches featuring him taken down. Seems like he is trying to have the dick flip erased from history.
