I'm sorry, but the RKO>Diamond Cutter

James Steele

If he used 2 hands like that most of the time, then it could rival the Diamond Cutter.

valid point. he's getting more consistent though

Orton needs help from Cody and Ted to beat shane, and now he is going to go on to face HHH? Stupid.

I thought it was brilliant.

Shows Randy up as the coward that he is, vicious and ruthless enough to kick people in the head.

For me, Rhodes reactions were great after the RKO, he almost looked scared of what just happened, for me, he is proving to be one for the future.

HHH's rage was obvious to see and really raised the emotion involved in the angle and Randy's crest fallen face at the top of the ramp was a perfect mix of 'what have I done' and 'crap, HHH'

Steph, to her credit, sold the move brilliantly and she had to, a lot of pressure.

Everyone was brilliant when it mattered and it will only be helped now that Shane has been taken out of the angle...his terrible sell of the boot threatened to smudge what was a flawless ending to Raw...one of the best I have ever seen.

I like it. Randy is classic heel without it seeming old and stale.

Please, like The Rock never needed help for the weakest of people back in the Corporation days. I think you're grasping for straws, and the ending was fine.

It's not that he needed Legacy, he just wanted them because he's a coward and just doesn't give a shit. He's proven that when he has to he can do what he wants and can take out whoever he wants. On paper I'd think Orton vs Triple H at Mania seems a bit boring, but after this, wow it's gonna be awesome.

I see Batista coming out to keep Legacy at bay during the HHH Orton match.

lol I just find it fucking hilarious that shane mcmahon is a super hero.

Like him and steph's dialogues are so jokes, "OMG Shane you were in and out of conciousness all last night, why are you fighting? Please don't fight"

translation- "Shane you are just so hardcore, and the biggest badass in wrestling history"

They don't book anyone else like that. Just Shane... the baddest man in the company.

How hard would it have been, to give a wrestler Shane's spot. I just don't get it lol

Fabien Barthez

Very hard. Since the angle was centered around retribution for the attack on his father.

This was the best ending to Raw in a long time, I felt like it trumped Orton punting Vince.

I was writing off Raw as a complete letdown up until that RKO.

Savio
02-17-2009, 02:59 PM
I liked everything except for the fact that randy NEEDED Legacy. If he did it with out them I feel it would have been much better. I dunno I have watched Raw in a bit maybe Shane is some ultimate badass. Everything else was good. Shanes selling of the punt was decent enough so I won't complain there.

02-17-2009, 03:14 PM
I still say Vince sold the punt better than Shane. We also now have the storyline reason that Orton never went after Steph before.

Shane took the kick terribly, he held his head up for a second and then dropped it. On the other hand, Steph took that RKO like a fucking champ!

I've seen people get knocked out. Some lift there head up then fall back down. Shane should have however not turned over at all.

If it was me I would have just went limp after the kick, Although I never got kicked in the head so I don't know how it feels.

Million Dollar Dream/ Rock Bottom combination

Wow, that was pretty awesome.

Fox

Fox please expound. How will this change trips?

Despite the fact that most fans know that he is married to Stephanie McMahon and that they have two children together, and though it has been teased on TV, they have never gone full ahead with that direction.

Portraying Triple H as the son-in-law of Vince McMahon, the CEO/President of the WWE, will change the way that they use him forever because he is going to be seen differently in the eyes of the fans. He's not just "The Game" or "That damn good" anymore - he's got a silver spoon in his mouth.

Maybe he always had it and he was a badass because of IED.

You guys are acting like Shane doesn't have a proven track record of making guys look better. He made Test look better. He made Blackman look better. He made Angle look like an absolute diamond.

Shane has credibility with the fans and he's earned the right to be taken seriously. This hasn't hurt Orton's image at all.

I think judging by the "apology" letter that Randy gave to the McMahons, it was quite obvious that the IED thing was some bogus excuse/legal loophole found by his "lawyers" in order to avoid any potential consequences for his actions. Never took the IED part of the story very seriously.

So why would WWE just let that go instead of investigating?

It being faked makes so much less sense than him actually having it.

I dunno, Xero. The way he totally dead-read that prepared statement on RAW, that he had his lawyers standing behind him, it seems pretty obvious that he's simply using it as a way to get away with whatever he wants. His looks of shock are because he has to ACT like he has it to keep up the charade.

I mean, if you're going into "why doesn't WWE investigate?" then you might as well start asking "why isn't Orton being arrested for kicking people in the head?"

Dude, chill out. It was not a long term deal and Orton took him out. Not the end of the world. Plus, it seems like you have made up you mind that WWE sucks, when in reality WWE is the best it's been in YEARS, so you should just stick with your gut feeling and stop watching.

I also will have to agree that the WWE is the best it's been in years. I'm not jumping on that horse either. It's been developing for over a year now, but in the past few months it's reached the point where I can honestly say things are the best they've been consistently in years.

Shane being 40 is hardly a problem. With some people in the WWE Universe, once you're over, you're over. If Ric Flair, Stone Cold, or Hulk Hogan came and beat up Orton, the majority of fans wouldn't think Orton was a bitch for it. I think Shane's on that level with the fans who aren't way too into it like we are.
