How do Day 1 adopters deserve a faulty console from a highly reputable hardware company?

be it day 1 or day 365, if you spend your hard earned money on something, it should work and what that person 'deserves' is a working item.

Honestly, if you haven't figured out that launch consoles will have issues, I don't know how you cross the street without being hit by cars. Multiple cars, because pattern recognition clearly isn't your forte.

Not only is this a known, decades-old problem, but you're reinforcing that it's okay for corporations to release hastily assembled, faulty products with a fix-it-later mentality to beat the opposition to market/the Christmas rush/alien invaders (Thanks, Obama!).

Frankly, people like that are why we can't have nice things. And they have only themselves to blame for shitty launch products.
