Looks like Liriano might be out for a while. That delivery was bound to mess him up at some point. Now Matt Garza, who started the year in A, is our hope for another decent pitcher.

To clarify, Garza has been tearing the shit up in the minors, hence his progression to AAA. I expect him to be a more than decent pitcher in his career, but maybe not so much if they call him up this season.

Frank Thomas is the comeback player of the year IMO. Hasn't played at all in 3 years and the A's would probably be in last without him (currently in 1st)

They say he's going on the 15 day with a forearm injury. Which compared to what ESPN had been MISreporting most of the day (elbow) is not so bad

Hopefully. Huge win tonight thought, Radke has been real solid in the past weeks. A Santana win tomorrow would be so huge. Also, Yankees are up on Chicago in the ninth and Kansas City is up on Boston in the seventh. Hope this holds out.

Yeah, the Yankees announcers (both radio and TV) are terrible. The Mets' are the shit though. Gary Cohen's "AND IT'S OUTTA HERE!!!" is class

NY sports talk radio blows ass though. Mike and the Mad Dog are fucking morons...and the only reason I listen to them are because I'm at the point where I laugh at their idiotic comments. The only other option is listening to Stephen A. Smith's NY show on ESPN radio, and I hate Stephen A.

lol just read a story about Dave Roberts on CBSSportsLine and how he still gets letters from Red Sox fans thanking him for stealing the base. I didn't even realize he had 0 ABs in the World Series, pretty crazy. I guess some fan sent him a base and Roberts signed it with the date he stole the base, that seems like a pretty cool idea I might actually do that so I add to it to my "sports hallway"

WOW. Zumaya walks Mauer, but then owns Cuddyer with his gas. You can tell he is getting going, then Morneau comes up and BANG. First pitch just drills his 30th home run into right field to win the game. Amazing.

Now it's Silva, Garza and Boof against the Blue Jays, but at least it's the Blue Jays right?
