Zelda - I mean c'mon, it's Zelda, why do I have to explain myself

Resident Evil - Always been good gameplay to me and always has a great storyline

Virtua Fighter - Easy to pick up and play (I hate Tekken because I could never figure out how to do moves)

Need for Speed (the Underground/Most Wanted/Carbon series) - I'm just a gear head

I can't stand Virtua Fighter. Too floaty for me. I like Tekken for it's combination of hard hitting combos, power moves, chained grabs and weak-but-effective strikes. I realize VF has most of that too, but I think it tries to do too much with its limited button configuration.

I never liked Tekken because it felt like you had to invest a lot of time into it to be able be really good at it; I like my fighting games to be easy to understand

I also enjoy Dead or Alive, much for the same reasons as VF, but I'm not really a fanboy for it.

Weird, I feel th same way... only backwards.

Also, DoA is what VF should be, IMO. DoA is ok in my book.
