Well it doesnt suprise me that they'd take a jab at him. In recent years, and as recent as this summer they have dubbed him as the greatest wrestler of a generation, a man who has held every title imaginable and they've had him go over their best, headline manias and all the good stuff. Now he's the face of the other show in town. So they're gonna slander him.

But yes Kane Knight, anyone with a brain can see through their attempt to belittle him. The WWE is like the mob, when you're in it and they need you, they treat you like royalty. But if you walk out on them or fail them, they don't take kindly. This is their way of trying to belittle him without giving him and TNA the satisfaction of television recognition.

its like the Huckster skits, and scheme Gene. They slandered them when they left. But once WCW folded and they came back, then all was fine. They made them hall of famers and even put the belt back on him...even though a 8 years earlier he was a "washed up has been from the 80s"

And they will do it with Angle, too. Kurt WILL come back some day, and he will be praised for what he is: one of the greats. And all this shit will be forgotten.

I've actually seen the magazine, and they take a second shot at him too. They have been running this page every month where they have a star put on a white wig and moustache to look like Einstein, and they have them give advice. Well, in one of the "Behind the Scenes" pictures, one is of Angle in the Einstein look. And it says :

Not Einstein

He was intense, to a fault, maybe - which is why this photo never ran in our column, "Genious Advise".

Yeah, but with better no complete clauses, few people (If any) can still do that.

TPWW Rule #1: Never let the facts intrude on a good argument.
TPWW Rule #13: When bashing WWE or TNA, Rule 1 is twice as important.

To be fair, though, walking out in their "peak" didn't contribute to their final results. WWE's statement is still inaccurate, no matter how many wrestlers are self destructive (A common trend in wrestlers), washed up, or out of touch (Another trend).

Luger's an addict, but so's Kurt. So're dozens of other guys. Eventually, you wash out or die if you don't deal with your demons (And sometimes, you still wash out or die...).

The major statement, the one which WWE made that is false, is the statement that they walked out at the peak of their career. This is false, as The One has indicated. While their final/current situations are less than admirable, WWE was making a bullshit statement (Which the One was correct in his corrections).

And in all fairness, I wouldn't chalk Kurt's badmouthing WWE to him being a "dick." The steady pattern is starting to make me think it's part of the TNA contract or something.

Kurt comes off as bitter. This may or may not be legitimate. It's hard to tell. Between being credible when speaking and working so much of his life (including his suicidal ring tendencies) into his work, it could kind of go either way.

Basically, I'm not saying Kurt is bitter so much as I can't blame people for thinking he's bitter when he comes off that way.
