Stanley Kamel dies at 65
...I know him best for his role on Monk as Adrian's psychiatrist.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”--John Rogers |

Wow. Didn't see that one coming.
I don't mean to sound like a douche, but I wonder how they'll handle it on Monk... Since he's fairly vital to Monk (even more-so than Sharona was), that's a multi-episode storyline at least (if they don't just replace him with another actor), but the fact that they need to handle it after he dies will likely feel awkward. |

I keep thinking this says Stanley Kubrick and I keep getting upset even though he is already dead.

I didn't think he was that old, to be honest. I mean, I didn't think he was 35, but when I heard 65, I was surprised. At that age, a heart attack is no longer that stunning, but wow. It sucks because he's a good actor, and apparently a very solid individual. |
