However, merely posting porn on a public website is not a criminal charge. I'm surprised the authorities actually detained this guy (perhaps the law is different in Dublin?) The burden falls on the website to either moderate their board, or properly warn visitors about offensive content. WWE did neither, and are trying to force liability on this guy.

No, DarKCentaur posted an example where a girl flashing on live TV would not get her in trouble. Last time I check that would be violating public decency laws. Not to mention if someone under the age of 18 views said pornography then that is illegal as well.
