Prices are actually pretty low right now, it just depends on how much you care about what brand you're buying.

TVs from Sony, Toshiba, etc. are going to be pretty damn expensive, but sets from Vizio are comparably cheaper.

I can see prices dropping soon, but then again, prices will drop again soon after that, leaving you in a never ending cycle of waiting until the price will get to its absolute lowest.
