Are you familiar with the likes of Christian and Eddie Guerrero? Are you even aware of the fact that both men made successful transitions from comedic characters into serious heels? Kurt Angle is yet another example, and I'm sure there are many more.

Also... Angle, Christian, and Eddie were always booked as somewhat of a threat though despite having comedic personas at times. Santino at this moment in time loses almost every match and is seen more as a good way to fill 10 minutes rather than an actual wrestler. I don't think that turning him into a legitimate threat eventually is hopeless but they'll need something good.

Please tell me you didn't just compare Santino Marella to Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, and Christian...get out of here.

Those guys could always go in the ring and even though they joked around, they seemed to be a threat in the ring. Santino is made to look like he can't wrestle at all and all of her wins are by fluke.
