That's awesome. I pretty much hate/hated HBK fans, and especially hated seeing them in Canada. What's funny is I live in Texas, and I love The Hart Foundation. That whole angle in 97' made me ashamed to be a Texan because I was in Stone Cold/HBK country, and I hated being there during that whole storyline because I am that much of a mark for The Hart Foundation. I would have done ANYTHING to trade places with any Stone Cold Steve Austin or HBK fan who lived in Canada at the time. I'd gladly go to Canada, and give up Texas to them!
Anyhow, I honestly don't see how any decent human being could like Shawn Michaels over Bret Hart. I find HBK fans to be just as obnoxious, heartless (no pun intended) and immature as Shawn Michaels is, and I think you can tell a lot about a person in regards of wrestling as to rather they are an HBK fan or a Bret Hart fan. Most of all HBK fans fit the exact same description, so I'd never wanna be friends with someone who is an HBK fan because that's just asking for trouble. If Shawn Michaels fans got their asses kicked that night, they probably said and/or did something to provoke it. They're most likely the same type of asshole's who mocked Owen's death. So yeah, when people like that get beat up, I wanna mark out. Cause they deserved it. Bret Hart encouraged fans to stand up for themselves. Don't mistake kindness with weakness. Just because a guy tries to be a good role model and hero doesn't mean he should let people walk all over him. |
