I like how the video says "Wrestlings fake?", yet when the guy is being sliced open with scissors he takes it like a bitch. Didn't he think to fight back with his spare hand?

Anyways, they're all fucking idiots for doing this to their bodies. Fair play to them if they enjoy it (God forbid), just don't expect sympathy when things go wrong.

Also, going back to the second video posted when the guy used that auto-knife thingy, I love how he cuts his opponent twice, then loses via a rollup. You'd have thought if you're man enough to do that to someone, you should at least let them do it back to you.... in the name of art.

You know, John Zandig, Ian Rotten, and all the other promoters of Death matches are really sick bastards.

The Taipei Death Match was only done once in ECW, after the results of it, I think most know why.

ECW, while known for its brutality, also had damned good wrestlers like Raven, Terry Funk, Taz, Malenko, Eddie, some guy I made up, Jericho, etc.

I'm sorry, but most of these Deathmatch guys are gonna be, at best, fucked up beyond all repair by the time they're 30 (A line Flair said to Foley, but more apt in this case.)

I mean, their ICON is working at a Blockbuster video, because he's too fucked up to get a real job after this stupid shit.

PLEASE give me some examples?

I am aware of people who have wrestled in these garbage feds, who I think have talent, but they don't do the ultra violent stuff.

The only man I find mildly amusing is Necro Butcher, that's mostly because of his performance in The Wrestler though.

I don't mean that Zandig is going to pull out a revolver and shoot Sexxxy Eddie or whoever in the head, but if the current trend is to use weedwhackers, syringes and (judging by the video on page 1) a DIY jigaw in "innovative' ways then I can't see the difference between that and one of these guys holding down their opponent and shooting them in their hand or foot. It's the natural progression and will end horribly; just like little kids who start playing rough games, end up in a fight and breaking their mum's vase.

An authority needs to step in and lay down regulations on what these guys can and can't do, not so to indulge their own sense of superiority but to ensure that these guys don't seriously maim each other and more importantly - the audience, as it's not CZW, or Zandig, or Douchebag with a syringe who will suffer, it will be Vince McMahon and the average wrestling fan. The media will jump on the serious injury of a athlete or patron at one of these backyard shows where amateurs are imitating their mainstream heroes and the heat will fall square on the lap of Vince.

Will Pepsi or Snickers want to sponsor a sport where people get shot for entertainment? No-one gets shot in football or basketball! You can say goodbye to your line of kids merchandise too Vince, because the PTC will lobby every authority in the country to ensure that Jimmy isn't wearing a HHH shirt. As for your television contracts?

If memory serves, wasn't there some athletic state commission that was really cracking down on CZW a few years back, they even got a few shows cancelled. Not sure how or why that stopped.

I know they did that show in some guys house recently when that guy had body parts hanging out of himself, how they are still able to operate as a company is mind boggiling, really it is.

The PA state athletic commission is pretty strict. In the arena they can't use lighttubes and all the glass they ise is the same shit as that stunt glass used for movies. To be honest it's much better that way and I really hate when they even leave the arena for tournament of death.
