He might not be the greatest promo cutter (he's decent) but he has an undeniable charisma and amazing ability to connect with audiences. If packaged right he could quickly become a badass face on ECW despite his size. Long story short I really doubt he's going to fail but it might take him a bit long to get going like it did for Punk. |

Truth be told, and this might be a bit of a push for the guy out the gate -- I'd like to see him win the Intercontinental Championship in his debut. I think the only person to ever do that is Santino Marella, and, well, he had a lot of help from Bobby Lashley. If Danielson answered an open challenge from Dolph Ziggler, or something, and beat him in a really solid wrestling match in San Antonio, or something like that, the dude could get pretty fucking over right out the gate. It's not neccessary, but it's something that would help Danielson instantly stand out. |
