For one thing Matt Sydal has been wrestling for years I bet if you put that title on him he would be going nowhere. You know kind of like his now going nowhere. IWA-MS closed it doors so he doesn't have many other places he can wrestle outside of ROH.

Its not like we are talking about Brock Lesnar here.

Yes, but he's still not "big news". Because he's not Matt Sydal, he's Evan Bourne. He's doesn't have the big history, and whereas he was hot hot hot in ECW, they put him on Raw -- a move I say was too soon, anyway -- and now they don't know what to do with him because Raw is afraid of new stars.

He needs to be built to be champion, not just thrust into it. He's a fantastic talent in the ring, but he needs more character time and he needs to earn the spot. He doesn't have nepotism on his side.

Look the only way we are going to get something new on RAW is if they just throw somebody in there.

I can remeber Triple H while not on PPV defending his title against Hardcore Holly to Tazz.


Look, We don't have to put the belt on him hell give the person 2 or 3 matches. Just anything besides Cena or HHH.

The problem with putting Bourne in World Title matches (even to lose) is that he's not really even that credible yet. Yes, he's on RAW now so he has moved up, but that doesn't make him automatically ready for big time matches on PPV. I'd say The Miz (as unpopular as he may be here) would be okay to do that, or even MVP (though they literally have no idea what they're doing with him right now).

But there are more deserving characters than Bourne. Henry, first and foremost. I could buy him winning the title at any time. But MVP could get the nod, even Jack Swagger is a former ECW champion -- something Bourne has yet to accomplish. It's just silly to rush Bourne ahead of all of them before he's even developed.
