Yep, I don't think anyone (even Mick Foley with all his concussions and what not) could rightly believe that TNA can overtake WWE in at least the near future, especially with writing like this...

...if TNA is ever going to overtake WWE it's going to be the day when the old brigade of veterans such as Nash, Sting, Steiner, Booker T and Foley himself ride off into the sunset and are replaced by the guys who can actually wrestle. Making Styles champion is a positive sign, but as long as the Main Event Mafia angle is around, then it isn't going to change.

How long was the Main Event Mafia meant to be around anyway? And why haven't they put over any new talent, like they were supposed to, yet?

Your guess is as good as mine man. I think it has something to do with the fact that TNA thinks that every guy that the WWE lets go is going to be "the next big thing of TNA."

Well shit! If that's the case, the WWE needs to cut Primo, Jamie Noble, Jimmy Wang Yang, and The Great Khali asap. Granted if they did that, at least 2 of those 4 would end up in World Elite.
