Miraciously the HDD opened and I was able to see my files. But when I tried to copy one of the files from my external HDD to my laptop, it would show me an "input/output error" message (which my friend called "right protected"). I have 400+ GB data on it.
It is being showed as a RAW partition from Disk Management. Is there any way I can fix the screwed up tables?
