It will give the movie all new legs though. Movies will probably stay in theaters for longer than they have since the advent of VHS.
It used to be an event when they'd re-release Jaws or Star Wars, because nobody had it on dvd at home.

Now, you'll be able to own Avatar but you won't be able to see it this way unless you go see it in theaters. I'm sure it will be in theaters for a long time
