Thrashers captain Ilya Kovalchuk, who turned down a $101 million dollar contract off from Atlanta, has been traded to the Devils.

Atlanta Thrashers left wing Ilya Kovalchuk is on his way to New Jersey.


The Devils will give up forward Niclas Bergfors, defenseman Johnny Oduya, junior star Patrice Cormier and a future first-round draft pick.
