I'm basing it strictly off of what I'm seeing. He really has done little to prove that. Even the little highlight reel he had on his promo was spot monkey-ing.

Don't get me wrong, I totally get why they put Bryan and Barrett on NXT. It gives them breakout stars to prove that the show works, plus it lets them get the rub from Miz and Jericho. I'm just saying that - if there were no NXT - those two would have made the leap pretty easily themselves.

So, if there's to be 3 "seasons" in a year and 8 rookies per season, how long can NXT go until everyone who's even REMOTELY television ready is used up?

Or do you think the format will soon change to be that only some of the NXT guys each season get the call-up? Then what happens to the ones that don't "make it"? Do they get invites back for next season, or do they end up repackaged/endeavored?

The final cable rating for the Tuesday, March 9th edition of WWE NXT On SyFy came in at a 1.0.

NXT is now officially where ECW was in the ratings when the company decided to shut the brand down.

Just thought I should post this considering the thread title.

Was the format from the beginning. Stated that only two of them get to go up to the main roster. Most of the others (I forget if it was three or five) stay on the show for the next "season". The rest go to hell or FCW, whichever is closer.
