Got stuck on the loading screen, after getting booted from our free roam, and had to shut it down. Decided to just call it a night, since I have a long day tomorrow.

Cougars ran us out of a forest because they kept attacking us.

Got some XP nailing a player who had a bounty on his head. This is a great way for 'good' players to get XP off of 'bad' players crime sprees.

Went on a random killing spree myself... don't know why.

Need to find bunnies.

I don't usually go out of my way to buy games, which is why I only own like 5 360 games, but this def. a must-have for me.

Thinking about taking this back to the store and getting my money back because in the 3 hours I spent "playing" it last night, I didnt experience anything close to fun.

The only time I actually got to play the game was when I was trying to get back to my posse and either getting killed along the way or lose connection and start all over.

Dont understand how you people enjoy this fucking game, I am going to try today and if I cant enjoy it, its going back for a game that I can actually play and not look at loading screens for a quarter of an hour at a time.

you might enjoy your games more if you didnt take them so damn serious. Honestly though, the moment a game does you wrong you act like they just shit in your cereal bowl.

The connection issues can be problematic, but like i said, i think in your situation, its just YOUR connection...it happens with MW2, and im sure it doesnt help with this game.

If you get a group of guys who dont mind just roaming around, shootin' the shit, and enjoying the environment the game gives you, you can have limitless amounts of fun.

So what's the best thing to do when this game arrives, single player or jump straight into multiplayer and pick it up as I go? I need to decimate my friends online...unless I'm in posse with them or something.

id say start single player, but there is little to no learning curve with this game (especially if you played GTA), so jumping into multi soon after is safe, but you will not have nearly as much fun in multi if you dont have at least a couple buddies playing with you.

If you get the right pals online, hours pass in the blink of an eye.

Honestly, when Roxer and Kalyx are online, i know i'll have fun because us three just play our part in the game, and none of us really mind doing anything, or nothing.

Have you tried playing any of the single player? At least half my game time has been SP, and it's been awesome. Haven't even finished the first area because it's so fun to mess around with shit. I fucking need to to unlock more items, but still.

MP is fun as fuck, but there are connection issues. I'd wait a while before throwing a hissyfit.

I'd go SP for a spell, but with no persistent character, it won't hurt you to go MP.

There is bobcats in the game. Probably not the ones that mauled your horse though, as I always confuse them with foxes.

Jumped in a free roam yesterday for a bit, and noticed a group of like 5 people all together with the skulls instead of the dot. Was like what is this? So I travel over to where they are, and see that they're inside this huge fort shooting down the entire mexican army. Being the up standing citizen that I am, I sneaked in through a hole in the side of the fort, and proceeded to assassinate one of them. Was killed trying to get the others, but had the most amazing time charging the fort trying to kill them while they where freaking out. Also dynamite is pretty awesome.

You can press X while looking at the challenges for the outfits to mark them. Then you will see a purple circle at the location you need to search. The scrap for the outfit is usually in a chest somewhere inside the circle.

Only played about two hours of this but absolutely love it. Not going to be able to play this till monday now due to work...I hate work. Think its rather annoying you've got to work to get the deadly assassin outfit but atleast it will keep me occupied getting. The War Horse is absolutely immense, such s noble steed.

I did play SP for around an hour before multiplayer, to make that clear.

My beef was the fact that out of the next two hours I spent more time looking at loading screens then playing online.

Got to play around 3 hours last night and only lagged out three times, however it seems to happen only when I am in a posse.

Couple of my buddies have the same problem.

Oh and my connection was fixed a bit back, opened a port or something and now I very rarely get booted from MW2.

Game is pretty fucking fun once you actually get to play and get some rifles. Getting spawn raped by a posse however wasn't very fun

Evans Repeater to their heads while they were clearing out a hideout and I got some sweet revenge (along with them chasing me for awhile)

I have "Wanted Dead or Alive" in my Red Dead custom soundtrack mix.

The paper map that comes with game shows you where animal regions are. But not bunnies.

If a posse is harassing you, leave their area or leave the game and find a new one. XBL's GT rating and avoiding is still there to use.

Crouch walking works well in Free Roam as well, sneaking up on bounties such. Your posse will see you regardless, though.

Hardcore gametypes will be interesting.
