One shot kills from across the map could get annoying too but I'd still like to try it.


Also, smaller teams are a lot more fun. Is there an option to choose small teams?

didnt even realize there was an HP difference...just thought auto was off. The guy i shot 4 times in the chest with a shotgun doesnt exactly scream hardcore. Because he lived.

The range for shotties are very strict. If it's not semi-auto or you getting a point-blank ambush, you will lose. Pistols are great, though.

Only played a couple hardcore games, but yeah, would like hardcore a lot more if it seemed like HP really was lower. Doesn't seem like it at all. If it was LEGIT hardcore, one-shot headshot, or two-shot body or something, I would like it more.

So the reason why those animals spawn like crazy in those areas are because they are a challenge you unlock later in the game. Kill waves of the same animal in that location, stronger type of that animal appears, kill it and challenge completed.

The last mount is a zebra donkey. Very fast.

One of the legandary characters may be a grandma?? Not sure yet.

Couple little random things I saw in single player.

Guy on a donkey quickly got off hiss mount, and took a leak on a nearby rock.

Found and older women kneeling over a dead girl, and she took a revolver and killed herself.

Shot a bird, and some wolves came over and investigated the carcass.

Had those first two happen myself, though it was an older woman who shot herself over a man.

Haven't tried it yet but I have an idea of hogtying someone and putting them near some wolves or something. See if they get eaten.

Wolves definitely go for stuff besides you - couple of them took down a passer by on a horse that I saw.

Out in the bumfuck middle of nowhere, I came across a dead body being robbed by some random guy, who then got on his horse and ran off. Didn't see him kill the guy or anything.. just found him looting his corpse.

The single player is more then fucking amazing.

Also, shot some bastard after he beat me in poker and ended up getting the suit that allows you to cheat from him

Yeah, I did that. This game was so good up until when you play as the son. I spent like 30 hours with John, and then he is taken away from me and I'm given this stupid boy who I pretty much don't know jack shit about. And I don't even know how many years have passed that this takes place. Hate this so much. Have zero motivation to go back to single player. This could have really been something special.

It was pretty quick, only took about 15 minutes or so. After that I did the hold a $1000 bounty for 10 minutes in free roam. We need to run through all the hideouts in one session, too.

I think I prefer single player over multiplayer at this point. I did enjoy going round and clearing out different strongholds around the place with a mate last night. Did the mine one, got the stagecoach at the end then took it down the wrong path and ended on the mine cart track by accident. That was fun, bit like a rollercoaster.

I'm torn. On the one hand, Multiplayer is fun, especially free roam with a posse. On the other, the story's actually kind of compelling and interesting. Plus, there's poker and liar's dice in single player. Shit they seriously need to add to multiplayer.

I can't wait for the co-op missions and shit to be added.

if they added poker to multi, i'd pretty much play that for hours. MP is fuckin' fabulous when you get in a room and you got a good posse.
