What's up with all these new depictions of Raptors with feathers? Fuck that noise. That doesn't sound very scary...more like a 6 foot turkey.

You'll find them scary when a raptor gives you a death stare. Also JP3 took many liberties with the raptor design to make them look scarier ('evil' eyes, longer teeth). It worked for me, though the narrative about them being smart as monkeys was a bit forced.
