I will say - I certainly hope there are still good Barrett/Otunga/Gabriel CAWs that go up on Community Creations even though they'd already been announced as DLC

I'm sorry but I'm still ranting, I cannot believe Nexus and nXt got demoted to DLC. Yes I know we can still get it eventually, but that's not the point, they deserve to be in by default.

The thing is. The 2nd DLC pack is presumably complete. Who knows if they'll even make another one since at some point they have to start SVR12.

It says on IGN that the first pack of DLC will be out shortly after release, and will feature Chris Masters, Rey Mysterio ("Dia de los Muertos" Halloween-themed attire) and Kelly Kelly (Devil themed Halloween attire)

Well, I'm still looking forward to this game, and will end up getting all the DLC. Mainly because I don't get DLC for anything else, and this is one of my 'main' games.

-Most of the nxt guys were there since February at least that's plenty of time to design the characters.
-Masters WAS announced
-Dudebusters people don't care about atm
-Alberto, Curt, Joey, and the Usos (and Tamina) I agree with.
-Khali not being in is odd...

Well, including the DLC characters of Bret Hart, Bulldog, Luger, Otunga, Gabriel, Barrett, Layla and Masters, and not including alternate attires, there are 61 playable characters.

They have advertised over 70. So who is missing?

Didn't know Masters was part of DLC Pack#1. So yeah it's weird they didn't just add the NXT guys straight away, maybe they didn't think they would actually make it on the full roster since they were getting "eliminated".

Or maybe they figured it would help the DLC packs sell, seeing as like I said, theres a chance they're splitting them up over packs.

According to Tank at THQ, there are still 14 more characters to be revealed.

Interestingly enough though...he re-posted the rosters and included Batista on Raw. No sign of Carlito, Shelton, Mickie, and still no Khali

Probably none of the other guys because they were easier to take out. You'll probably find that Batista has major VO in one of the RTWM's or something, so couldn't be taken out.


Don't get Khali.


Funny thing about Khali, is he made his SvR debut in 2007, which I've been playing lately. Most of the roster can't even punch, kick or grapple him without hurting themselves. He's a beast on legend mode.

Good to see they're mixing up the legends a little this year. I miss the old SvR games where you'd get a different selection of legends every year. But the past few years it's been Austin and Rock.

Like I said, I've been playing 2007, and the list of legends included not only Austin and Rock, but the 3 faces of Foley, Bret, Neidhart, Hogan, Tazz, Lawler, Piper, Bam Bam etc.

I'd like to see that kind of variation again.

I think Khali isn't in. It makes zero sense to have him be the ONLY active guy not listed right away. I don't use him or anything but that may be one of the biggest roster snubs in years.

Remember, Khali was pretty much set up to leave a bit after Mania, but they brought him back in. Could explain it.

And Danielson not being in could be explained by being fired.

Well the guys at THQ have said there are 14 more superstars to be announced, that aren't DLC. So I'm guessing unlockables/ the future endeavoured club?

It still really doesn't make sense though. Finlay made it back into the game even though he has been on 1 episode of SD since January. Primo made it back in despite being a Superstars jobber. What the fuck? They've said several times that this year you could make the attributes whatever you wanted right out of the gate. If I have to still play a fuckload of matches to increase attributes I may back off on this game.

Yeah that sounds about same as usual. It seems to be like Ubisoft's PEC system (which is catching on) so it may actually be faster, but they really were clear in saying there would be no grinding required.

Ubisoft gave the recent Splinter Cell Conviction the same system, people liked it again. Halo Reach has a new credit system which is essentially the same as the PEC concept where all modes reward you 'money' you can use to purchase effects for your character (which will show in all modes).

PEC is Persistent Elite Creation (or was it Character?), but I see it as Persistent Character. What SvR11 is doing sounds like a similar system. And really, I wouldn't mind it showing up in more games.

Fucking good, but they also had this in Smackdown last year. Every match you played with a CAW, no matter the scenario netted you points for attributes. Far better than 09, but still not good.
