This is different. TNA does stupid things as part of their short sighted, instant payoff booking. This actually had planning and a build. They set the date weeks ago. They had to have a specific plan, and this couldn't be it.

I agree, but in my opinion, saying "they" changed their mind and aren't coming is FAR better than their shit fuck ass back up plan of Hogan, Bischoff, and Jarrett. I would love to see a legitimate surprise and threat, but I can't give any credibility to them. At this point, giving them the benefit of the doubt in that they ORIGINALLY had a surprise is highly unlikely considering the history of TNA.

I agree, and I'd like to hope that this isn't the case, but other than bringing in unknowns I can't see much of a payoff otherwise. "They" ends up being Hogan, Bischoff, and Jarrett. Sting and Nash become faces for being right all along about them being evil.. The storylines tie together, and everyone ends disappointed. Sounds like a Russo swerve to me.
