Nah, that's a good thing. Building up your guy the first 1 or 2 times DoR style is fine, but after that I want to be able to give my CAWs stats the way I see fit. Have like 20 CAWs each for DoR1 and 2. Also, remember No Mercy and WM2000? You didn't have to build stats and they had some of the best CAW set ups ever.

But No Mercy and WM2000 didn't let you max out everything. I'm fine with letting us put points where we want and I know everyone will do a decent job on setting up stats but online CAW matches will be OVR 99 vs OVR 99 every time.

I still think a slider with two opposing things at each side would work. Like,

Strength ---------- Speed
.................^

or something. That way no one can max out every stat and be Superman.

Isn't that how SD has always worked, though? I agree that there needs to be a revamp to fix that, but on older games I always saw 99s.

Oh yeah, about the CAW thing. You can go to OVR 100 straight away, bit you can't max out a CAW per sé. Depending on the weight class, you can't go to max on some attributes such as strength on my light heavyweight.

Forgot to mention that the load times seem to be massively improved. But feel free to do the all unlock thing, just unlocked Finlay and Yoshi but they unlocked in the same way as Koslov, an announcement from McMahon

Loving the way the stairs worked into that move with the physics.

1) Minitrons are locked to the titantron and custom trons don't do anything, just has the shows logo there.

2) Divas can't pick up the stairs for some reason, but can use stuff under the ring

3) The DLC costumes are on disc. You can try to select them but it has "downloadable content" written on it.

1) That sucks. Minitrons are 3 second long, max, animation loops. I wouldn't have thought there would have been a need to not make them interchangable.

2) Maybe the stairs are too big for the female character models and they didn't want it to look weird. Like No Mercy, when a female character raised their arms, they'd be disconnected from the body and just floating in mid air.

3) I saw this coming.

Hope they fixed custom trons this year. I had this elaborate plan to have a sequence of my Caw doing his finisher in different parts, with each part featuring a different attire. couldn't do it tho.

Hadn't seen confirmation that stackable tables are in, but indeed they are. That's going to make for some amazing spots. And they FINALLY changed the Ladder falling animation. Been the same since they introduced ladders.

How much can you edit in WWE Universe? I know brand and alignment but can you also edit the ranking system and such?

Also, sounds like matches are set up according to brands. So if you only wanted to play on Raw you could move all the main eventers there while shipping the jobbers to SmackDown, etc.

There are inter-brand matches between Raw and Smackdown, just not WCW and ECW. You can edit champions, allies, face/heel and rivals, not rankings.

haha. I remember when the mode first came out it was said that you could edit rankings, guessing they took it out since you could then edit the game to put yourself at the top and get all the achievements in 2 seconds.

I think I may actually turn off WWE Universe whenever I feel like playing an exhibition match that DOESN'T involve storylines.
