I don't see this at all in one-on-one Ladder/Cage what have you matches..

Multi-person ones, yeah, but that's usually the AI picking them up. Can usually do a cage match with one finisher unless it's someone with a kip-up ability.

EDIT: Just realised, I've got finisher damage set to the max on the sliders, so it may be helping it for me.

Somehow I Irish whipped Triple H into the turnbuckle and he wound up hitting the steps outside

sidenote: They couldve made Hardy more realistic I mean actual size ,and have him bitch and whine on Twitter and YouTube about how I cost him a match and how THE Matt Hardy will never die!

One thing I do love about the commentary is that there seems to be commentary for specific matches. Probably because of RTWM, but there seems to be a lot more now. And when they start talking about the main event being, say, a submission match during undercard matches in Universe.

Actually haven't done any 1v1 yet, they've all been multi person ones.

I actually don't dread ladder matches this year for some reason. Well, I love the physics, but I mean the system for getting the case down. I'm assuming that it's the same system as last year just without the bar. Am I right or is it more random this year?

Yeah, I think the amount of commentary dialogue is the reason there's no Grisham/Striker in the game as well.

Only made it through the first Backlash in Universe. Played every match and had all but the tag titles change hands. No way Hart Dynasty are losing to Morrison/Truth.

Is the difficulty setting default at easy or something? I didn't look but I won a cage match in about 2 min and as Sheamus I beat Cena for the title in about a minute 30 seconds with one finisher...? I'll check what the difficulty is set to when I get home.

By default it's on normal setting. So yeah, it's easy to win quickly and one finisher is guaranteed to finish off the CPU.

For Universe Mode I don't mind quick matches since I'm more about advancing the story. But for RTWM I jack up the difficulty.

So wait, not only is he in as an NPC, and his music and tron are in. But you actually have to fight him? That actually makes it beyond stupid that he isn't in the game.



Look for him to be bundled in with Bret Hart in DLC Pack 4

BTW, Game emailed me this morning to say that the game had been dispatched on next day delivery, so will have this at some point tomorrow, which is at least a day earlier than normal UK release.

Got this game, I'm going to review it bullet point style.

Big Vito, what are you talking about story during WWE Universe mode? To me, it's just a bunch of Exhibition matches with little features like "Big Show and MVP now hate each other" and who's number 1 contender and stuff. Is there an actual story to it? I obviously didn't mess around with it that much...

-Normal difficulty...errr...FUCKING 50 SECOND MATCHES! Jesus....

-Hard difficulty...it is hard. I actually struggled fighting Triple H and HBK with Jericho. I haven't tried Legend difficulty yet.

-The overall gameplay....I like it. I like how you can do your signature/finisher at any time instead of having the opponent be groggy.

-The weapons physics is awesome. I set up a table on the outside of the ring, I whipped somebody onto the apron, I charged for a clothesline, I missed, and fell outside on top of the table, sort of breaking it. Also, doing superplexes off the top onto steel steps is sweet.

-Road to Wrestlemania....I've only done Jericho's so far. It's not bad.

I've been playing on Legend since my third or fourth match. Had to turn down the reversals a bit because it was a bit ridiculous, but otherwise it gives me a bit of a challenge. Cena is a bitch to beat (as in real life ).

My one huge complaint when it comes to multiplayer is the ridiculous amount of reversals. Having all reversals on one button is fine for single player, but you wind up in these reversal fests that just get tiresome after the 8th time in the same fucking match. Having the grapple and strike reversals mapped to different buttons would all but eliminate this problem because it forces some guesswork instead of "oh, he's gonna do a move. I don't care if it's a drop kick or a powerbomb, I'll push this button".

I don't know, maybe I just suck, but that really takes the fun out of the game for me online.

Online would suck even with the reversal buttons separated again. It's not balanced to be a conpetitive multiplayer game.

However, local multiplayer for a laugh and not caring who wins is epic, and you can turn down the reversal frequency slider if it bugs you then.

I know it's not balanced to be competitive, but what fun is it when you're in a stalemate half the match?

And what's this reversal frequency? Does it affect the player as well, or just the CPU? Because I've turned that one down on grapples.

The last fight on Reys if you take the route I have is like a boss fight even on normal. Major reversals

Beat me after I hit a hurrcanrana that I thought stuck but after the 2 count, it had actually been reversed and he rolled me into his own pin.

I love being able to adjust your position during some moves. I had a table set up, went for a superplex, and turned to the right as far as I could so I'd put my opponent through it. Pretty sweet. The physics are kind of glitchy, but that makes the game more fun.

Is anyone else having issues with XBox Live? The dashboard shows only Microsoft stuff, no Netflix Last.fm and Facebook etc.
