You have to play Expert. The other thing is the threshold may be unchanged, but since you can now get a 50% OD bonus in SP from the "Band Unison" phrases, it could be that I'm getting GSes earlier because there's more overdrive to go around.
A lot of my friends only play on Medium, so I don't get band Gold Stars often. I do like the fact I can get a Gold Star rating when playing with others, though, even if they don't max out their score or play on Expert. Like Hasney just said: Quote:
