Not that it means all that much but there was a WWE.com article detailing the history of the Nexus and it mentioned that Young, Sheffield, and Tarver were all "weak" and not fit for the group.
I think Nexus will definitely last until at least WM. My hope is that Tarver and Sheffield return by then with aims at taking revenge on the group for kicking them out. Darren Young also joins up, as does David Otunga who seems like he'll be out of the group any minute now. Then of course there's Daniel Bryan, who probably would be better suited in a one-on-one match with someone (CM Punk?) but him being involved would make sense. Since MITB probably won't happen, you know they'll do some clusterfucks to get as many guys on the show as they can. Daniel Bryan, Darren Young, Skip Sheffield, Michael Tarver, and David Otunga vs. Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Michael McGillicutty, Husky Harris, and a standout heel from NXT Season 4 who joins later on (Brodus Clay or Conor O'Brian) Nexus lose that, and Wade Barrett loses to The Undertaker to end the group for good. |
