look at it from a matchmakers point of view... it still does nothing in terms of advancement. Sonnen wants another crack at silva. A win over bisping doesnt put him there. He would still have to fight one or two times against better guys to get back where he wants to be.

So outside of entertainment, bisping is a limbo fight for him... if he wins.
