Game Informer has a few more details about the game:

1) No multiplayer so that the team can focus on a stronger co-op and solo gameplay.
2) Weapons can be customized in a lot of ways and some even silly/comical.
3) RC gun lets you shoot at cars and then control them like an RC toy car.
4) Experience system similar to GTA San Andreas that lets you eat, get fat, and change your physical appearance more.

1. Never actually played MP in 1 or 2. Can't say I'll miss something I never played. Though maybe I shuold invite Swiss for a friendly game....
