This saddens me because a few days ago I posted that the only match I would've liked to see at VR would've been Sting/Hardy, based on Sting being my favorite guy from WCW (along with DDP) and Jeff being my favorite underdog from WWE who always had a certain enigmatic, entertaining mystique about him.

Thank God I didn't witness this atrocity of a main event. I hope Sting quits and goes to the WWE for a few months to end his career on a high note (WWE "Best of Sting" DVD, HOF induction, a few matches against big WWE stars, etc) and Jeff gets fired and either sent to jail or goes to rehab so he can come back and be the superstar that I know he's capable of being.

GOD. TNA used to be my shining light at the end of the tunnel - a possiblity that MAYBE there could someday be competition for the WWE the way WCW was competition for the WWE. But Dixie Carter simply does not know what the fuck she is doing.

I just watched it on YouTube. Jeff looked legit fucked up and confused. Bischoff was definitely telling him something when they shook hands. And Sting was saying "I agree" to "This is bullshit" chants.

This may be a legit shoot. I would not, for a second, be surprised that he was fucked up and they had to change plans on the fly. If that's the truth, and I'm not saying it IS at this point, I will laugh in TNA's face. I've known Hardy would blow up in their face.

If it's a "worked shoot", which I suppose is possible because Hardy's court date is this week, it's fucking stupid and they screwed paying fans out of a main event.

Where would they go? There is not enough room for them in WWE, thats why I still hate that Vince bought ECW and WCW and did nothing with them. I wish he would of kept WCW open and just gave control of it to either Shane or Steph (in real terms, not the bs invasion angle) and they would just compete within the family, thus keeping the business much much bigger.

I'm not surprised that Sting and the fans got pissed off after the match was over. Hopefully, he gets a better challenger soon, whether it be Mr. Asshole or RVD 4:20.

How Sting can live through the final embarrassing years of WCW and still continue the embarrassment in TNA is sad. After 1999, has Sting been apart of anything worth mentioning when it comes to successes?

There are plenty of TNA guys that WWE would sign if they were able to. And the ones that don't can go to ROH. It would help ROH get another TV deal and if nothing else at least that promotion isn't run be utter fuckwits.

At TNA Victory Road, the main event between Sting and Jeff Hardy for the TNA championship lasted a mere 1 minute and 28 seconds before Sting got the quick pinfall.

According to numerous sources in the TNA locker room, the main event was cut short because of major concern about Jeff Hardy's "state of mind" backstage. Other speculation is that Sting wouldn’t agree to wrestling a long match with Hardy if he was in bad condition.

After the show event, fans in the Impact Zone chanted "Bulls***" while security walked Jeff Hardy to the back. Sting was visibly upset over the awkward finish to the main event.

Jeff Hardy is back in court next Monday 3/21 for his pending drug charges.

I think a couple words come to mind...honor and loyalty.

Since July 4, 1987, Sting had been with WCW, until the very end on March 26, 2001. He never left the promotion once.

Since June 18, 2003, Sting has been with TNA.

I believe Sting wants to help the younger talent very much, like he tried to do in WCW. I believe it's guys like Hogan, Flair, Bischoff, Russo, and Dixie Carter that's messing things up in TNA.

Wouldn't exactly call it childish, he made a valid point. I wonder how many of them that are signed to a TNA contract to get that exposure, would really like to be away from it right now?

I'd say that wishing the company went out of business, so it forced the wrestlers elsewhere (for your own enjoyment) childish. It's not like most of these guys are choosing not to go to WWE (some exceptions like Sting and Angle) it's that they aren't wanted. And if they wanted to be in ROH over TNA, they would. Plus, after all the dumb shit TNA has done, I doubt this is going to change their mind.

Are you Hardy's dealer or something? With the exception of the big names, TNA's wages are basically equivalent to working anywhere not named WWE. The only possible perk is getting on TV which is meaning less and less each week as the vast majority of their TV time now is spent on retarded storylines that have no tangible direction. There are consistently reports coming about about talent requesting their release and more often than not TNA won't grant it.

It's a sinking ship and it has been for quite some time. Such is life when the people running your company have no idea what they're doing and have no problem screwing over their fans.

TNA has been badly booked for the 5 years I've been watching on and off. It has been, at times, completely, unbelievably stupid. Samoa Joe was completely misused and involved in some stupid shit the last year, yet he re-signed just a couple of months ago. But no, clearly.. TNA should go out of business so Joe can finally be free to go work in ROH again, you fucking toddler.

Wow, I hope that wasn't a worked shoot. Anyway if all this was due to Hardy being fucked up, I hope this will somehow force Jeff Hardy to try and get clean but it is apparent at this point that Hardy will only get clean through force (stuck in a jail cell).

I don't believe even TNA is stupid enough to do something like that on purpose. Hardy is a piece of shit, and honest to god, I was waiting for this to happen. In my mind it was inevitable.

TNA is however stupid enough to just send the fans home with nothing, and not even add a last minute replacement.
