Really? No offense but I always thought when people thought of "The face of the Yankees" everyone would think Derek Jeter. Frankly I don't even like A-Rod that much and I am a damn Yankee fan.

A-Rod is an awesome player, but he has pulled some antics some people don't like: slapping the ball off Bronson Arroyo's glove during the 2004 ALCS...yelling "I GOT IT!" as he was heading towards third base when a teammate hit a flyball during a game in Toronto against the Jays in 2007...and running across the mound during a game against the A's, angering pitcher Dallas Braden...

...so little things like that make people dislike him.
