E3 2011 : Show's Over, Prepare for lighter wallets this Fall

Konami's Press Conference Highlights:

* Contra Reboot on its way to current consoles

* Sillent Hill getting the HD remake/collection treatment to go along with a new Silent Hill for NGP/PS Vita. Silent Hill 2 and 3 are being remade in HD while the NGP game is being called Silent Hill: Book of Memories.

* Metal Gear Solid getting made into a collection for the 2nd time but this time in HD for Xbox 360 and PS3 (previous collection was on PS2). Also announced was Zone of the Enders getting the HD remake treatment

* Metal Gear Solid Rising confirmed to be a no-show for E3 and still has a TBA 2012 release date. The game is expected to take on more of a sci-fi style for story and gameplay.

* Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater on the 3DS is being called a "tribute to the series" by Konami. The camera on the 3DS allows customized camouflage based on what was taken as a pic. Gyro sensor used to keep balance while climbing.

* New game called Neverdead and its a 3rd person shooter where the player can't die but can lose limbs. Those limbs grow back over time.

* New Pro Evo Soccer game with improvements to passing and dribbling to go along with a wider camera to show off more of the field.

* New game engine called Fox engine in development to help with multi-platform games for use in future Konami games.
