Alright, all of this Anti-Gay patrolling doesn't seem to be solving the problems that GLAAD would like to be solved and ultimately it's just creating new problems of censorship (Not to mention it's making people fucking hate them). The event wasn't even televised. It's starting to look more and more like a witch hunt everyday.

That's b/c if GLAAD thinks this one incident will stop gay remarks, they are smoking some powerful shit. For every pro, there's a con. I understand the need to show tolerance for ppl who are different, but WWE has stepped over the ass kissing line. Every little incident is reported to GLAAD, even if they don't see it as an issue. So why do damage control in a situation that cannot be fixed? To me, it winds up looking more like censorship and over sensitivity than a constructive way to solve a problem. I highly doubt CM Punk calling some dude a homo is the most gay bashing remark ever uttered. If that's the case, GLAAD should never go near a locker room, or they could target dozens of ppl for no reason. Apparently joking or saying something sarcastically isn't acceptable anymore. I bet if he called the dude an asshole, no one would even think twice about it. Funny how supposed groups have a double standard when it comes to something as simple as having a sense of humor. I personally can't comprehend why it's even a big deal to begin with. GLAAD obviously didn't know the incident occured until WWE made them aware... |
