It's 1992, who is going to face the champion Ric Flair at Wrestlemania? Sid, Hogan, Piper, Savage or The Undertaker?

A Press conference is held and just as WWF President Jack Tunney is about to announce the Number One Contender, Sid steps up to take the microphone but not before Tunney says "ROWDY RODDY PIPER!" Hogan pulls Sid down and the two have a stare down as Piper is set to go one on one with Ric Flair at Wrestlemania VIII, as well as Sid/Hogan as the main event.

I'd have Flair attack Piper at the press conference and throw him off the stage injuring his knee. The next week it is reported piper will be out of action for 5 weeks (just before Wrestlemania 8) and Since Piper is the Intercontinental Champion and cannot defend his title in the 30 days period, the title is vacated and a tournament held to crown the new Intercontinental Champion at Wrestlemania.

My WM 8 Card

WWF Title Match: Ric Flair (c) vs Rowdy Roddy Piper
Sid vs Hogan
WWF Intercontinental Title Tournament Final: Bret Hart vs Macho Man Randy Savage
