1ST PLACE: John Cena vs. CM Punk (60%) (WWE Championship - Money In The Bank - 17th July 2011)
The word "epic" has been bastardized, beaten, strapped down and anally violated by this point in history but if anything in professional wrestling were to be described as "epic" in it's pure and proper form for 2011, it was the build, execution and aftermath of this match. And then some. Featuring the hottest crowd in professional wrestling anywhere since The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania X8, Cena and Punk absolutely tore the house down for 33 minutes and 44 glorious seconds en route to the most popular decision and title change in many, many years. Go and watch the anticipation for and eventual reaction to Punk's entrance and turn the volume wayyy up. I dare you to not get goosebumps. This was everything that is truly great about professional wrestling and for at least one night, CM Punk stood alone as by far the biggest entity in the entire industry.
