Take it with a grain of salt but its from the same sources that leaked all the stuff in the beta. Apparently some of the stuff Sony and developers were revealing as features are being taken out with the sole purpose of to charge later as DLC.

Also a decent amount of characters are being rumored or stored away for DLC purposes with Crash being rumored as DLC only.

there is no king of the hill, there is no capture the flag implemented yet nor have I heard talk of anything like that… LAN games were removed due to the amount of bugs submitted for it, no free roam as far as I have seen… And the Challenge, General and Character trials are being removed in order to be made into DLC
