I don't know why, but whenever NAO were in the match either controlled or as CPU, there was some crazy-ass time limit objective that made me want to punch people in the throat.

I think out of all the Attitude story, Rumble 99 has to easily be my fave to play. Love all the Mankind/Rock matches though, especially the ones where you whip someone into the announce table and grapple so Rock can get on the headset to talk trash.

Nah, everything can be unlocked on any difficulty. Most of it in Attitude mode, then some in Universe.

I wish they would have let you play the Rumble match as Austin and chase around McMahon.

Well then, I don't know why you'd play it on those difficulties at all, let alone getting objectives in Attitude.

If it's for challenge, then put down the wrestling game, because they've all had broken and cheap AI past normal, instead of challenging but fair.

Kind of pissed they don't have stage parts for Nitro and the other WCW PPVs from last year.

I think it would be awesome if next year they did something like Attitude mode again, except for the entire monday night war.

Tried to recreate Sheamus's 18 second Wrestlemania win in Create a Story. Put Daniel Bryan's heath all the way to red, but it won't let you have infinite finishers like you can in exhibition. So I went on to the match first glitch was that it introduced Bryan as the "challenger", then as the WHC. Then when I beat Bryan with an axe handle, Sheamus didn't even celebrate with the WHC. Lame.

Just attempted the Kane/Austin match from Raw 1998 and ended up losing it. Managed to do all the historical objectives but whenever it came to the finisher/pin combo Paul Bearer would just leap up on the Apron and distract the referee. Tried to take him out but he'd always manage to get back up in time to stop the pin and therefore just ended up being worn down until I lost.

Aside from the usual AI Reversal cheapness this is probably the first major issue I've had in the game, managers haven't usually been this cheap. Anyone else encounter this?

Nah, it's just pixel art and some people are really good at it. I've seen the hacks that bring in new wrestlers and the models they put in are sometimes better than THQ's. It's hilarious.

Last years Chris Jericho (the one that was most downloaded) was damn near perfection.

The Ryback they have is pretty damn good. Downloaded it along with Antonio Cesaro.

I just hope they have alot of good celebrities and tv characters so I can make a weird story mode this time around.

They won't have to spend months writing original stories because they will already have them with the archive audio and video footage to boot. Last year's Road to WrestleMania was a chore and a bore and this one was a score.

I haven't played online or created any stories, so I can't tell how the servers are yet.

Based on the rave reviews the mode is getting, I actually could see them continuing the story next year, doing the rest of 1999 and maybe continuing it to WM X7 in 2001 (the perceived end of the Attitude Era).

Wouldn't even need to alter the roster all that much. You'd sub out Bret, Vader, LOD, blue blood HHH etc. in favor of some other guys more fitting of the years the mode covers. Then make any necessary tweaks to characters (Taker becomes a biker, HHH becomes The Game, etc.)

Bonus points if they signed up a bunch of the Hardcore wrestlers from the game and did a story focused on the 24/7 rule.

Anyone different would be a bonus, not like it'd break the bank to sign Hardcore Holly to a deal.

Only 3 or 4 matches into the DX story and have been grinning like a masturbating retard the entire time.
