I'll agree. I do think he is amazing but in his current character I just can't see it. He needs a "thing" to really get him there and the MITB briefcase just isn't it. And it DEFINITELY isn't the Vickie/AJ/Cena shit.

The briefcase is the only thing keeping him interesting for me and when Cena beats him my care level for Ziggler will drop to zero. People are far too quick to label a wrestler "world champ material? Your world champ should be able to draw viewers and carry the show. Ziggler does neither. Vickie has been his saving grace for a couple years.

He isn't the first wrestler to hold the MITB briefcase and for me to be all like "wtf ever dude". Swagger rings a bell. While his title reign was hated by most I felt like he was pretty legitimate. Perhaps Ziggler will accomplish that but perhaps he won't. I'd rather him lose the briefcase and try to "get over" a different way than keep it, win the title, only to become a meaningless WHC.

I like Swagger and think he was just horribly booked. He got into a feud with Big Show and was made to look like a bitch from the get go. He had some great in ring promos, but aside from that I'm not sure creative had any idea what to do with him

Swagger could've been a much better champ than he was if they got him into some better feuds.
