Those seem to be contradictions. Also almost every attitude mark out there says bring back 24/7. It's not a very unpopular opinion.

ECW was an entire company built around garbage wrestling. I want the HC title and 24/7 rule as a small vein running through a larger presentation as something that can provide seriously good hardcore action and Keystone Kops-style slapstick through the same channel.

Really? I thought the prevailing opinion was more "24/7 killed the integrity of the HC title." which honestly I never quite understood the rationale behind that. I'm sure I've heard people clamoring for it to be brought back sans 24/7.
